Scope and site identity
This Privacy Policy covers Prison Escapes pages and server endpoints on prisonescapes.com. The site provides a prison escape game catalog, independently written guides, device-based favorites, privacy controls, and public comments.
It does not replace the privacy policy of an embedded game, advertisement, payment feature, or external website. Those services are independently operated and may collect information under their own terms.
Information you choose to provide
If you email Prison Escapes, the message may contain your email address, subject, message, attachments, and whatever other information you choose to include. Send only what is necessary to explain the request.
A comment submission contains a display name and plain-text message. For a published comment, the site displays that name and message together with a server-selected avatar and posting date. Prison Escapes has no commenter account system, and a display name does not verify identity or affiliation.
Requests, security, and abuse prevention
A normal page or API request may expose technical information to the site and its hosting infrastructure, including IP address, user-agent, requested URL, referrer, request time, response status, and diagnostic details. This information can be processed to deliver pages, diagnose failures, secure the service, and enforce request limits.
Comment submissions are checked for allowed fields, size, same-origin requests, links, abusive patterns, rate limits, and access to the referenced game. The saved comment record includes submission and moderation times, publication status, check results, rate-limit evidence, and a keyed one-way fingerprint derived from IP address and user-agent. The raw IP address and raw user-agent are not written into that comment record.
Cookies
Prison Escapes uses first-party local storage to keep a versioned consent record with the selected categories and update time. This record is necessary to remember your choice. When Functional storage is allowed, favorite-game identifiers can also remain on that browser and device.
Analytics, Advertising, and Personalization start disabled until a visitor makes a choice. Prison Escapes does not currently load its own analytics tag or Google AdSense script. Any future optional integration must be connected to the appropriate saved consent choice before it loads.
An embedded game runs from a third-party domain. Its operator may set separate cookies, local storage, or other identifiers after the game is opened. Prison Escapes cannot inspect or delete storage belonging to another domain.
If site advertising is enabled later, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to select ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites, including for delivery, measurement, frequency control, reporting, fraud prevention, and permitted personalization.
Third-Party Advertising
Prison Escapes has been prepared for a possible Google AdSense integration, but the site source does not currently activate AdSense. If it is enabled, Google and its partners may serve ads and use cookies or related identifiers to deliver, secure, measure, cap, report on, and personalize advertising where permitted.
An ad request may disclose information such as the requested page, IP address, browser or device information, date and time, and available advertising cookies or identifiers to Google. Google's linked policies explain how it uses data from partner sites and advertising services.
Some embedded games may contain advertising or purchase features selected by the game provider or its advertising partners. Prison Escapes does not choose or directly control those in-game ads, transactions, cookies, or data practices.
User Choices and Opt-Out
Use Cookie Settings in the site footer to accept all optional categories, reject non-essential storage, save a category-by-category selection, or withdraw a previous choice. Withdrawal stops future site-controlled use for that category and removes the optional first-party storage keys controlled by Prison Escapes.
Your browser can also block or erase cookies and local storage, although doing so may remove the saved consent decision and favorites. Storage created by an embedded game must be managed through that provider, its controls, or browser settings.
Google Ads Settings provides controls for personalized Google ads, and the Digital Advertising Alliance offers choices for participating companies. An opt-out may still leave contextual or non-personalized advertising visible.
The Prison Escapes settings panel records site-level preferences; it is not a Google-certified consent management platform. Personalized Google ads requiring certified consent for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland must not be enabled until a Google-certified CMP using the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework is implemented.
Third-party games and external links
When you open a game or follow an external link, your browser connects directly to another operator and sends the information normally included with a web request. That operator may apply its own analytics, cookies, advertising, account, purchase, or personalization practices.
Review the provider's notices and in-game controls before sharing information or buying anything. Payment-card details entered directly with an external provider are not submitted through the Prison Escapes comment or contact features.
Public comments and moderation
A published display name and comment are public and can be read, copied, or quoted by others. Do not place private, confidential, or sensitive information in either field.
Automated screening may publish a submission immediately or hold it for review. Prison Escapes may later restrict or remove a comment because of spam, abuse, security, legal or rights concerns, or lack of relevance to the game.
Retention, security, and transfers
Email is kept as long as reasonably needed to handle the inquiry, preserve related records, protect rights, or meet legal obligations. Comments and their moderation or abuse-prevention evidence remain while needed for the public comment feature, unless moderation, a valid request, or legal obligations make earlier removal appropriate. Consent and favorite records remain on the device until they are changed or cleared.
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no transmission or storage system is completely secure. Hosting, email, embedded-game, and any future advertising providers may process information outside a visitor's country under their own policies and applicable transfer safeguards.
Children and regional privacy rights
Prison Escapes is not directed to children who are below the age at which they may independently consent to personal-data processing where they live. A parent or guardian may contact the site about information a child may have submitted.
Where applicable, privacy law may provide rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain data; object to processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a supervisory authority. A request must provide enough information to locate the record and may require proportionate verification of the requester's authority.
Policy changes
This policy may change when the catalog, comment system, browser storage, advertising configuration, providers, or legal requirements change. The Last updated date identifies the version currently published on Prison Escapes.
